Maged Makram Sheroubi is an Egyptian visual artist based in the United Arab Emirates, with a multidisciplinary academic foundation that deeply informs his creative voice. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural and Interior Design, a second degree in Psychology and Philosophy, and a Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts. This rare combination of disciplines is central to his artistic inquiry, which explores the unseen dimensions of the human psyche—memory, desire, and the unconscious.
With over 25 years of experience as a senior architect, interior designer, and fine artist, Sheroubi’s practice is driven by an enduring belief in art as a sublime message. His paintings are deeply introspective, often portraying internal conflict, repressed emotion, and the soul’s longing for lost love and childhood dreams. His material versatility spans oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, silk, and glass, chosen instinctively to match the emotional weight of each subject.
Sheroubi has exhibited his work internationally, including at the 8th Geoje International Art Festival in South Korea and the No Limits Juried Exhibition at Golden Duck Gallery in Budapest. His work has also been featured in the Jeongeup International Art Festival and shown alongside artists such as Labiba Ferhat and Silvia Philipp. Though primarily featured in curated group exhibitions, his presence across emerging and established platforms continues to grow, building toward broader recognition within the global art landscape.
